Nathan Armstrong is the Editor-in-Chief for 901 Music – an online music publication that brings readers real time coverage of concerts as they happen.  Growing up in and around the Memphis music scene, Nathan uses the platform of 901 Music to highlight the importance of Memphis to the music industry as often as he can.  Armstrong says “901 Music gives me a great platform to highlight Memphis as I travel and write about music.  Being from Memphis always gives you credibility with artists – it is after all “The Birthplace of Rock’n Roll”.  People always want to talk about Memphis music”

Nathan has been blessed to grow up in Memphis and have the opportunity to be a part of producing over 200 live and studio events in a wide spectrum of venues (educational, religious, theater, corporate, studio) including the Best Buy Theater in Times Square, the El Rey Theater in Los Angeles, and the Daytona International Speedway. More importantly, he has benefitted from industry leading experts at the The Walt Disney Company, The Motor Racing Network, music producer Michael Omartian, the staff at the GRAMMY Foundation, and many others, who have been willing to share their knowledge and life experience with him as they have worked together.

Most recently, Nathan produced the winning video for Briarcrest Christian School’s entry into Macy’s All-School A Cappella Challenge. The “OneVoice” a cappella singing group from Briarcrest Christian School won the competition against other high school groups from across the country with their video performance of “I Want You Back” by the Jackson Five.
